About Athvance Capital
Athvance Capital is a European sports investment platform that acquires and operates majority and minority stakes in sports IP - across multiple verticals.
Structured as an evergreen industrial group rather than a traditional closed-end fund, we create long-term value by deploying proprietary technology and media infrastructure across our portfolio companies.
Founded by operators and investors from JP Morgan, DAZN, Eleven Sports and LVMH, Athvance closed an initial €60M round in 2025 and is scaling toward €100M+ in net asset value.
The role
We are looking for an Analyst to join our team in Paris, working directly under the guidance of the Investment Director and the Managing Director.
You will sit at the centre of our deal flow - pre-screening the opportunities we receive, assessing co-investment situations, and helping sharpen the proprietary tools we use to evaluate them.
You will also gain exposure to the finance and reporting side of the house, from portfolio monitoring to NAV - giving you an unusually complete view of how an investment platform actually runs.
It is a high-exposure seat for a junior professional who wants to learn the full mechanics of investing, from first look to portfolio value creation.

Assess investment and co-investment opportunities across the pipeline
Pre-assess the decks and opportunities we receive against our investment criteria
Help refine and fine-tune the pre-screening guidelines powering our proprietary analysis tool

Support due diligence and investment committee preparation
Portfolio support

Support portfolio teams on modelling, budgeting and financing questions
Help consolidate portfolio reporting and monitor KPIs
Group finance, NAV & regulatory
Support periodic NAV calculation in line with our evergreen structure

Help prepare financial information for the board, shareholders and auditors
Profile
Degree from a top-tier business school, engineering school or university, with a strong finance or accounting foundation
1-3 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; genuine comfort with valuation concepts
Rigorous, autonomous and able to manage several workstreams in parallel
Fluent in English and French
A real interest in sports, media and entertainment is a plus
Proficiency with AI and automation tools is a plus
What we offer
A fast-scaling, entrepreneurial environment where the ceiling is set by what you can take on
A genuine front-row seat on every deal, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Investment Director and Managing Director
Real ownership from day one: your analysis directly shapes which opportunities we back
Rare end-to-end exposure - from first look to value creation - across investment, portfolio operations and group finance
The opportunity to help build the tools, standards and proprietary edge of one of Europe's most ambitious sports investment platforms
